Our Team

Adam Johnston - Director and Physiotherapist

Hi everyone,

As the Physio at WLC Medical, it’s my job to help keep you moving and doing the things you want to do.

From a weight management perspective, this involves Body Composition Analysis which measures your body in terms of muscle/fat/bone mass (at no extra cost), as well as treating any injuries and teaching you how to get the best out of your body.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science at UWA, double majoring in Anatomy & Human Biology and Exercise & Health Science, followed by a Bachelor of Science at Curtin, majoring in Physiotherapy.

I am a member of the Australian and New Zealand Obesity Society (ANZOS), as well as the World Obesity Federation (WOF), through which I gained Certification by the Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE).

I am also a member of the National Eating Disorder Collaboration (NEDC), the Obesity Collective and the Weight Issues Network.

It was seeing the need for a collaborative approach in best managing the health of our community that the idea was born to create WLC Medical.

As the Director of WLC Medical, it’s my job to make sure that the whole experience for you, from online to within the clinic and beyond, meets and maybe even exceeds your expectations.

We are a clinic able to treat any injury or ailment like any other medical centre or allied health clinic, but where we aim to excel as a team is in our ability to work with you to be your happiest and healthiest self.

Welcome to WLC Medical.
